home mapping previous	Click to see equivalent satellite image This map was prepared as part of the overlay to a digital terrain model for use in an animation of a proposed wind farm. (The finished result can be seen on our video page.) The image is a combination of Ordnance Survey Landranger mapping (with unwanted text and detail removed), altitude colouring and simulated illumination (both based on OS elevation data). We sometimes also add texture and colour using Landsat satellite imagery or orthorectified aerial photographs.
