Visualisations are perspective views drawn on
the computer to show what a project will look like or to enable you to
understand some aspect of a site or a region.

detail
Visualisations may be highly detailed images approaching photographic
realism or may be very simple and abstract. Different levels of complexity are
appropriate to different situations.
Most visualisations that we do are simple shaded 3D perspective views of
projects in their context, but as the examples on this page show, this are by
no means the only approach.
desktop virtual reality
In addition to static images, we are increasingly creating 3D virtual worlds
which can be explored on your computer using a suitable viewing program. See
the video page on this site for more information.
visualisation and photomontage
There is a very narrow dividing line between the areas of visualisation and
photomontage. Indeed a photomontage may be little more than a detailed
visualisation superimposed on a photograph. See our photomontage page for examples.
