These houses are on a coastal site near Aberlady, East Lothian. The houses were modelled and rendered by computer on the basis of the architect's drawings. The camera location was identified and the perspective matching carried out using Envision's own software. Final merging of the rendered houses with the original photograph was done using Adobe Photoshop. The as-built view is interesting to compare with the photomontage; the heights of the circular corner towers on some of the houses have been reduced by a whole storey height, a far less saturated colour has been used and some quite large garage blocks added. |
