The Weir was modelled in 3D using Caligari trueSpace and then slotted into the photo on the basis of site survey information. As the foreground river level was to be lowered as part of the project, it was also necessary to represent dry river bank in place of water. This was done by eye on the basis of site survey drawings using Photoshop. Textures were taken from other parts of this photograph and from other photographs taken in the vicinity. The raised level of the loch was also represented using Photoshop with the level based on a perspective view of the new shoreline and by eye for the rocks behind the weir.
