	This example shows the masterplan for the redevelopment of the Blindwells opencast site in East Lothian for Scottish Coal. The video clip is one sequence out of a much longer production. The blocks of development are shown as simple boxes coloured to show their intended use. Tree planting is shown symbolically as balls on sticks and the ground model is coloured with a texture consisting of OS mapping, colouring for altitude, shading and satellite imagery. The model is constructed as a VRML world, mainly produced using Envision's own software. Once the flight path had been chosen, it was handed over to Envision's VRMLpilot software which steps through the chosen path, saving each frame as it does so. The individual frames were assembled into sequences with VideoMach and edited and titled using EditStudio. The version of the video on this site is reduced to half the image size and half the frame rate and is very heavily compressed for web delivery. The original version was produced to broadcast resolution and frame fate.
